 This was inked with a brush-pen and colored with Copic markers. It was my first attempt at the idea of a doctrinal / devotional cartoon strip. It's also based on true events. :( Below is the ink sketch before I colored it. I usually sketched in pencil, then I would do a clean sketch by putting the drawing on a light table and then inking over with Micron pens. Then I would go back with the brush pen and re-ink it for thicker / more varied lines.  Update July 2022: I went back and added one more panel. I always felt like it was missing the punchline.  |
